We collect the following types of information:
- Account information — your email address and password, used solely for authentication.
- Workout history — exercise type, rep counts, and timestamps recorded when you complete a challenge.
- Usage analytics — anonymous events such as screen views and feature interactions, used to improve the app experience.
Camera & Pose Detection
FortifyHabits uses your device camera to detect your body position and count exercise reps. This processing happens entirely on your device using MediaPipe, a local machine-learning library.
No video footage is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third party. Your camera feed exists only in memory during an active workout session and is discarded immediately after.
How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To store and display your workout history, streaks, and personal bests.
- To calculate and track your reward points.
- To understand how the app is used and improve its features.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — stores your account credentials and workout history securely.
- Mixpanel — collects anonymous analytics events to help us understand feature usage. No personally identifiable information is shared with Mixpanel.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your workout history and account data are retained as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us using the details below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
